After the morning meeting, we decided to take pictures for our application. One part of the group was going to take pictures of fresh food on the market and the other one was going to take picture of the nature of Cambodia. This article is about our nature photo shooting.
Seiyon told us the best places to take nature pictures are next to her home near the temple area of Angkor. It was as hot as usual and a beautiful day. So we drove together on her motorcycle. Right after we passed the ticket control of Ankor Wat, we saw next to the streets a group of monkeys. For me it was a total new experience seeing monkeys living free in nature. They were smaller than I expected and looked really healthy. One of the monkeys played with a banana, he looked as if he had a lot of fun.
Next we stopped the motorbike as we saw a group of cows. By walking around taking pictures of cows I saw a lot of colorful butterflies. I have never seen a many colorful butterflies in my life at one place.
All the way taking pictures, I was totally impressed in witch harmony the people live together with nature. For me, a city girl from a cold and rainy country, it was a total new experience. Next to Seiyons home we took pictures of house pigs and house chickens. The pigs smelled a little, but also looked healthy and happy. Seiyon told us their names and age. In my opinion being an animal in Cambodia is the best, because they can live a happy and care free live. So if you want to see really great nature visit Cambodia.
